Snail Mail: a series of slow workshops

September 21, 2009

I truly recommend you to have a look at the workshops that my friend Miriam Nash is going to run at Foyles this autumn. One of them is this Saturday so make sure you do check them out now!

They are workshops in creative letter-writing, part of the Slow Down London festival. But they are not just designed to make you forget about your tweets for a couple of hours and let you slow down to the rhythm of your best handwriting. You will also have a chance to explore the great freedom of the letter as a creative writing form. Miriam talks about this point beautifully on her blog.

If this tickles your epistolary glands, check the Foyles events website and book a ticket! Dates are Saturday Sept 26th, Oct 31st, and Nov 28th. If you go, I want a postcard!
